In October of this year, I completed a Master's in Library and Information Science(MLIS) degree at the University of Western Ontario (UWO).
A few of my favourite MLIS courses…
Before studying at UWO, I graduated with an Honours degree in History and Major in English from Bishop's University, Sherbrooke, Québec. I remember fondly discussions both in and out of the classroom on subjects such as Environmental history, Archival studies, American history and Comparative Literature: Liberty and Oppression.
I work in the fast paced world of Information Management.
I'm also studying Online Legal research through the University of Toronto Professional Learning Center.
I'm always looking to incorporate the theories of Information Visualization into my work. It is a powerful form of communication especially when paired with good design.
Curiosity has taught me to being a life long learner, inspiration has come from my mother's continuous pursuit of knowledge.
When I’m not reading (either online or offline) I love preparing classic dishes with fresh ingredients, and baking sweets. I've also taken to experimenting with a Nikon D60 SLR camera and learning about logic.
